The Armies Of Nottinghill

 It is quite a while since I read the Napoleon of Nottinghill but I found that the Internet and AI answered some questions I had and gave me forgotten information.   UNIFORMS and EQUIPMENT In general: Halberds are mentioned as a common weapon. Swords, are also likely, and perhaps other medieval weapons like clubs and axes. At some point it is stated that some of Scott's men had bows and I am going to say they are longbows.   I don't think anything was said about firearms but I think it reasonable to say there were at least some available but would they be from medieval and Renaissance eras or Edwardian? I am going to have the best of both worlds and say matchlocks, flintlocks and metal cartridge rifles would have all been available but in limited numbers.   The sight of Renaissance looking troops with Martini-Henrys or Lee-Enfields will make a quaint addition.
