Acquisitions From ACOTS 2017

Here are some of the acquisitions from Easter ACOTS.

Below:  an assortment of British 'ceremonials'. The Household Guard cavalry are lacking sword arms and will be given new ones and horses. I am considering replacing heads to make ACW cavalry. Some of the guards men might be painted as Gerolsteiners in blue coats and red trousers.

I particularly like this Cherilea guardsman who must have been a miscast as his head is cocked to one side. The foot cavalryman lacking a sword, is another nice figure in hard plastic and possibly was a cake decoration. Some guardsmen are copies of Herald.
I love these curious chess pieces which are conquistadors and Incas. The material is unusual, neither plastic nor metal. Some figures are missing from the set, including the Spanish 'king' figure. The 'Rooks' and lama are quaint but it is the human figures i lie, especially as it is the first time I have seen figures of Incas. I'm unlikely to find any more so i don't expect to make an Inca army. Most likely they'' get added to my Aztecs. The eyes are enormous so I'll repaint them.
Some battered Britains Detail Arabs that will be converted into Lionians or painted as Arabs once new arms are found.
Cherilea Arabs, Cresent Indian, Britains Mountie and old Roman cavalryman.
                                                            Marx boy scouts.
Close up of the lovey Roman; he might well become a commander.
