Aluminium Ruritanians

I obtained these crude aluminium cavalry with a pile of other figures. The horses legs are rather short but the figures have some inherent charm. They had a  rudimentary paint job with partially scraped off paint. I decided to go for a basic gloss paint job with just a little line work to pick out where arms joined body. The grey coats and light blue trousers with regimental and branch trim are typical of my Ruritanians,
