Easter 2011 will see Australian Collectors of Toy Soldiers being hosted in Canberra. There will be the usual swapmeet on friday and wargames on Saturday. Anyone interested in attending should contact me.
The account of the South American War will soon be concluded. Plans are already under way for a Camerone based game. Camerone was an episode in the 1860s Mexican Adventure of French conquest of Mexico when less than 60 French Foreign Legion fought to the death against 1000s of Mexicans. In my version there will not be so many Mexicans but they will certainly outnumber the FFL by at least five times. In this case there will be a chance of survival as a column of zouaves and other Frenach and Imperial Mexicans will be on the way.
