Other uses for ACW figures

Quite a few years ago I came across details for uniforms worn by British volunteers in Italy's wars of independence. I decided to paint Accurate ACW as the same, mainly because I wanted 1860s period Brits for invading America! These fellows served alongside some Indian Mutiny conversions in a British intervention in the ACW alongside the Confederates in one game. In another game Yanks and Confederates united against the interlopers! Other British troops included Britains Detail, Herald Timpo, Cresent and Lone Star Guardsmen with Britains Herald Household cavalry. Quite a sight and you didn't notice the assault rifles unless you looked very closely!

I am going to use the same figures as Mexicans in my Mexican Adventure game - minus the British flag. Although another option would be to include them as Brits. The British and Spanish were there too, to retrieve debts, at least temporarily, until France made it a grab for empire under Austrian Maximilian.
