Gerolsteiner Victory


Gerolsteiner cavalry press forward into previously Bluesian held territory. The Bluesians have withdrawn across the wide but shallow Blinx River.

Bluesians advance on the Hermans.

                        Grand Fenwick archers valiantly hold up the Herman advance. The Bluesians refrain   from shooting at the archers as they prevent the Hermans crossing in to Bluesian held land!

Below: Herman grenadiers do a temporary deal with the Bluesian cavalry not to fight for two moves and instead try to target the Gerolsteiner voltiguers. However, effective shooting is impossible with the arrival of refugees on the road. Both sides display remarkable restraint in order to save the civilians.
The Bluesian cavalry target a different Herman regiment which they capture!
On the other side of the battleground Bluesian zouaves move to the side to enable a free field of fire for the Bluesian artillery. The Bluesian guns soon devastate the Gerolsteiner and grand Fenwickian grenadier ranks.

                                             The Bluesian defence against the Hermans is strong.
The Bluesians have killed or captured most of the Hermans on the central battlefield and advance into Sourkroot. After machine gunning, from the Bluesian fort, the building held by Herman grenadiers, the Bluesian infantry charge towards it to attempt capture.
