Kirsten's letter to Winnie.
My dearest Winnie,
Do be careful! I know how impetuous you can be. You are a war correspondent not a combatant so please don't get too close to the fighting.
I am missing you terribly but we shall soon be reunited. My parents have given their blessing. Father regards you highly and he just loves the Redians. You know he was a colonel in the Second War between the States and remembers fondly how Redia intervened to ensure a Confederate victory in both wars.
I have your lovely watercolours displayed in our living room and they remind me of you.
Until next time, love from Kirsten.
