9 Way battle Warhammer 40K
A very enjoyable and unusual wargame was organised at the Sale Epic Centre. Five separate tables were used, one which represented a bunker complex. One could enter this bunker from other tables via a portal. If you could control the inner sanctum of the bunker at the end of the game you could choose which planet in the campaign you wanted to blow up!
There were Imperial Guard, Eldar, Chaos, Tau, Necrons and my Dark Eldar. The umpire also guarded the bunker centre with additional Tau. There were a lot of bolter and laz gun rounds blazing in those tunnels. The Necrons and Chaos fared best. My Incubi carved their way threw a few units but the only thing I had left at the end was my lady archon leader. Her retinue were shot up by Eldar tomb spiders that could go through walls, shoot and disappear!
Strangely, groups were loosely aligned in our campaign but could still fight each other. The interesting part was always having to watch one's back and the exhortations to fight someone different.

The card sections represent the walls of the bunker.
