Latest Wargames

Australia Day weekend at St  Leonards is becoming an ACOTS wargaming tradition. This time our Funny Little Wars armies saw battle on the Saturday followed by Ancients on Sunday.
For the Funny Little Wars game I brought about 500 of my painted figures, mostly Armies In Plastic Germans (Hermans). Russians (Crussians) and my Balkan (Trans-Slovanian) troops. Bob brought his Bretonians, Paul his Rostovians and Dave his Fritzerland troops.

In many respects it was a civil war as the Rostovians broke away from Crussia and allied with a Herman and Fritzerland expeditionary force. The Crussians were supported by the Bretonnian expeditionary force and the armies of Tran-Slovania and achieved a great victory.

The Sunday game saw the forces of Imperial Rome deal a thrashing to the Carthaginians. There were three players a side and all troops began in reserve awaiting activation on a D6 of 1-4.

This is my first posting for a while as I have been without my laptop for two weeks.
