5th Missouri
The 5th Missouri was a Confederate regiment which wore blue plastron front shirts. The rest of the uniform is conjecture and I originally used a variety of brown, greys and whites. Recently I have gone for a more uniform butternut colour which means they can also stand in for US troops in the Spanish American War, although without the leggings and bullet loops and different style shirts. As this will be my semi-fictitious 'Amerigans' for my Funny Little Wars games this won't really matter.
The figures are re-painted from old Timpo that I obtained from Bob Bolton and with age some had muskets broken. I have used this pose to form other US and Confederated regiments and it is one of my favourites.
