A Parcel From Mexico

Today I received my EBay purchase from Mexico. The Aztecs were exciting because I had never seen these figures before and there are a limited number of plastic 54mm - 60mm Aztecs around. These 60mm figures are not fantastic though. They need a lot of trimming and some filling with putty might be done. The hands are large blobs meant to have holes for insertion of shields and the pathetic little daggers that come on the shield sprue. The figures are also very skinny, except for the Eagle knight which is a reasonable figure. He is in the one piece feathered overalls. The other figures just have loin cloths although one also has a jaguar head piece with skin hanging down the back. I'm not sure if he was intended to be a Jaguar Knight. with application of putty or thick paint he could be fudged as being in the one piece outfit. The actual jaguar head pieces were generally made of wood and would have been more substantial.

The other figures are cartoony pirates and a Roman in about 40 mm. If anyone knows anything about these figures or the Aztecs I'd welcome your input.
