40K Building for 28mm and 54mm Scale Comparison
The 40K buildings are designed for a Gothic distant dystopian future. They also have a steam punk look about them. I have photographed my latest industrial/administrative looking building with 28mm Space Marines and 54mm Bordurians for a fictional 1920s/30s scenario between Borduria and Syldavia.
The tankette below was a Paul Wright conversion.
The next tankette I made from a Lone Star metal Bren gun carrier.
The checked floor pattern provides a good contrast, although I need to neaten it a little. The base is wood with a sprinkling of sand and kitty litter. The whole thing was spray painted black and then dry brushed with metallic GW paints and some corrosion green. Below are my Bordurians made from Airfix and Matchbox Germans. The cavalry have Airfix US Cavalry legs. There is also an Imex ACW bugler. The German hand grenade throwers were best for converting into sword wielders.

Below the ruin is manned by Space Marines from the old Space Crusade set and also a metal Inquisition miniature.
