I had seen the Timpo Ivanhoe figures in a book before but had never had them. I was intrigued by the feather plumes. So here were the figures in a Gippsland antique shop a little worse for wear but with plumes. I especially like the visor which can be lifted but is missing on the mounted figure. I think I can fix these figures with some wire and putty so yet another project presents itself. Also picked up were some assorted plastic figures.
I remember buying the King in my local Post Office in the mid 1960s.On a Saturday I took my pocket money there and the couple who ran the shop were so patient as I made up my mind which figure to buy.They were so patient with me.
