New and Old Teutonic Knights

Recently I completed some Reamsa knights some of them that are crusaders. I especially like the one with the flamboyant cloak and hand on his helmet. Interestingly, the ax man has tights and no chain mail on his lower portions.

The tent came with some cheapo China made knights some years ago.

Below are some Italeri crusaders. For some reason I did not have all the original horses so i have used a mixture of replacements.

Below are my old Teutonic knights, made from a variety of figures. Most of the foot ones are Britains Detail copies, with a Cherilea knight with banner and in front, among the foot figures, some Disney figures suitably converted and painted. Many of the mounted figures are made from HK swoppet copies of Timpo, whilst others are copies of Britains Detail or Timpo Action pack.

The Teutonic Knights were a key part of the Beersteiner army in the last campaign but, sadly, their suicidal valor saw their near extermination.  However there are rumors that they are building up their forces again. Something tells me that the fanatics of the Black Cross will once again make their presence felt on the battlefield.
