Slaughter At Palmersaurus Shed -The ACW Game
Dave hosted an Australia Day wargaming weekend and also sold a great number of old figures, With a rapidly emptying wallet I acquired a great many old hollowcast Britains that I'll feature in a later post.
Dave set up two large 54mm ACW games, the first based on a battle in Tennessee at Stone River. History repeated itself as the Confederates failed to make much headway against some strong defensive positions. The second battle was fought to a stalemat. As usual I was on the Confederate side with four players a side.

The ACW figures, a wildly eclectic, but interesting lot. Here are the scenes before commencement of battle.
More reports and pictures of the medieval game will follow.
