Well, if I spend so much time painting toy soldiers why not spend some time painting the toy animals that sustain them? I decided to paint some made in China plastic cows and assorted other animals.

Eventually I'll base them as well so they won't fall down when they are being herded around the tabletop villages.

                Not all things are hunky dory for the cow herd as a wolf makes an appearance.
