A New Pille of Old Damaged Plastic Cowboys, Indians and ACW.

The E-Bay description of the item lived up to its name as not a figure was without some damage, some from wear and age and some deliberate hacking. Anyway there was a pile of them and it was fun going through them. The lot with postage was under $20. There were Cresent, Lone Star, Timpo, Cherilea and some rarer Hilco and other small companies, possibly Speedwell or Benbros. There were also a couple of French figures.

The two top Indians are French hard plastic. The other firing one is Hilco.
The brown Confederate rider is a made in China copy of Timpo, I think. He is 54mm rather than 60mm and his hat is a bit wonky. He is missing his sword. The blue Indian is a HK copy of Hilco.
I don't know about the totem pole. Is it Speedwell? It had some holes poked into it!
There are a lot of outlaws missing their right hands holding loot bags. maybe they tried this in a Muslim country. The kneeling cowboy has had a part of a tree pinned to the base. Who is the little green guy?

Someone had a lot of fun with these figures as a number of them had white paint under the bases and stuff written on them, like names of tribes.

I'm not sure what I'll do with all these broken figures. I could 'restore some to original appearance, although they won't be especially collectible in that state. I might also 'enhance' them or I might convert some. It occurred to me that the Cresent flag carrier and bugler, missing flags and bugles, would make good horse holders. Of course, the bulk of them will go in a box with all the other assorted ACW and Western stuff but expect to see something over the next months.
