Steam Tractor Conversion Painted

Here is the bright orange steam roller now a black steam tractor.

The back wheels were detachable so I left them free of the black spray. Some day I might replace them with more realistic wheels. The control panel was also masked to leave the control panel visible.

Some more details, including dry brushing are yet to be added.

This is a wind up toy so I was careful to mask the openings so I can still wind it up and let it go.
I haven't decided whether to leave it matt black, varnish it semi or full gloss. Thoughts?
