The Red Weed

I bought three plastic plants yesterday as they look good for SF settings. I had a choice of yellow, green, purple and red and chose the red. I remembered the 'red weed' from War of The Worlds; it is a Martian plant which spread on the earth following the invasion.

It could also serve to represent fire. I figure I could use the plants in fantasy settings as well as SF.
