The Monsters Are Coming - Size Comparison

I found these pics when \surfing the Internet and neglected to find a credit for them. Anyhow, the research was occasioned by Mat's comment that he would like to use Warhammer's Lore of Beasts to have the option for one of his wizards to transform himself into a hydra, a winged chimera, a manticore or a dragon! The spell can be upgraded to make the dragon a bloody big dragon! I could imagine mat taking such a gamble, especially when thing get difficult. His recent use of the Comet of Cassandra spell was evidence of that as his men were in close proximity of the area he designated for the comet to fall. As it happened it worked a treat because he killed my general (and one of King James' sons) and that led to the retreat of that particular army even though, up until then it was doing great!

So now I am researching and making suitable models, notably of a manticore, which is almost finished. I have a collection of dragons too. I am going to guess that after all that Mat fails to cast such a difficult spell, or his wizard will misspell casting himself into the warp, dragon or not. The spell, which remains in play, can also be dispelled leading to awkward situations for his wizard, who may put himself in combat with a regiment!

Anyway, one can always find a use for the odd manticore or dragon. I am thinking of placing a Dark Elf hero on one, or perhaps a manticore.
