Bogavanian And Fezian Forces Repel Beersteiner Assault.
The Beersteiner attackers have been reinforced by the king's arrival with more crusaders and cannons.
The Bogavanian matchlock defenders on the remains of the West wall managed to kill some Beersteiner musket men before they in turn were swept from the wall.
Meanwhile the Beerstieners attempted to fill the moat, They did this in two moves opposite the rubble from the destroyed wall section. After a misfire one of the Beersteiner cannons exploded and killed its crews.
The Beersteiner pike advanced over the branches and logs used to fill the moat and then advanced over the wall rubble, The Bogavnaians were waiting: The matchlock men in the courtyard opened up and killed all the pike men in that unit. The advance stalled. However, the longbow men moved up behind the rubble and shot down some matchlock men who returned fire, killing some archers.
Meanwhile, King James cannons opposite the South wall opened up on the wall, weakening it and then smashed the gate down. The Beersteiners then pushed four wagons into the moat; they all sank out of sight as it must have been a deep part of the water.
Next the Beersteiner artillery fired through the opened gate but the shot was largely ineffectual.
Although the battle ended with Bogavanian and Fezian victory - of sorts - the Beersteiners were posed for a final assault on The Hounding.
