The God machine SF
I got this idea from someone 'else's blog and I'll make a link. Jim has the premise of humanity spread through the stars but, when communications cease, on societies regressing technologically. Attempts are made to relearn it and various nations or groups might do so at different rates. What a great excuse to use toy soldiers from different periods!
Jim writes about different scenarios and one is The God Machine. This is an old military vehicle. Jim uses a large toy (heavy WW1 or 1920s tank) I use a large toy four wheeled vehicle (Ninja Turtles?)
Eventually I'll paint it, probably silver.
So the Sorceress (not necessarily a real one) which she tries to meld with to make it operational. This is not easy and if ever. Her forces are ancient type warriors and some later; I'm going to use Napoleonic or Boxer rebellion.
The Warlord has musket armed troops, including those with rifled weapons. He also has orc mercenaries.
Once the defenders get the vehicle working or the Warlord captures it the game is over.
The Warlord's elite regiment
Statue of the Sorceress's remote ancestor OR a carnival park accessory!
Large turret for a large vehicle
The female bodyguard
I presume the regiment are WW2 figures. What did you use to extend the helmets down to the shoulders?
ReplyDeleteHalf are WW2 Airfix Germans. The others are cheapo grey and white plastic spacemen that came out some years back.
