Britains WW1 British Officer Gets A Sword

As his sword was broken off I drilled out the officer's hand and added a DSG plastic sword. I suppose that to be in character I should make a metal one from flattened wire. 

The pistol annoys me so i might one day replace that too.

The rank and file will be harder to fix.

    I didn't know these existed until today and now I think I need to acquire some! I find them rather creepy just on their own - which would make them perfect for Weird World War I. How tall are they?

    They are 54mm WW1 Britains. I like figures with gas masks. I see that some cheapo plastic modern infantry sets include figures in gas masks. Also there were the plastic Airfix modern SAS. Another option is to use putty and to imprint the goggles from a paintbrush plastic tube cover.
