The second Fezian siege continued. Beersteiner cannon and musket fire decimated and neutralized the defending Fezian archers on the Eastern wall. The archers and musket men also killed the improvised crew on the Fezian cannon on the Northeastern tower.
As the musket men moved to the destroyed gate they prepared to shoot through at the archers on the Western wall battlement.

The Beersteiner artillery caused some casualties among the archers on the Eastern wall but failed to cause significant damage to the wall itself. Then there was a massive misfire chain reaction which destroyed all three cannons!

Umonara restored to life fallen musket men.

The Fezian heavy spearmen, led by a hero, made a desperate assault through the gate at the musket men where they died to the last man.

Musket men scaled the Southern wall where they met the sole resistance of the Fezian commander, Marduk. He easily fought them off as they could get only two men on the wall at once and his martial ability and late armor was vastly superior.

However, the Fezians were quickly falling. Mercenary horse archers fired up at the Western wall. Musket men who had scaled the undefended Northern wall now also shot at the Fezian archers. Only three survived and they fled the wall.

Finally Marduk and the few survivors surrendered.

Beersteiner musket men advance on the Eastern wall.

Beersteiner longbows and muskets move around to the Northern wall.

King James urges his men forward.

Umonara restores life to fallen musket men.
Beersteiner musket men fire through the castle entrance. Crusaders prepare for a charge into the castle but were not needed.

Heavy Fezian infantry defend the courtyard.

Led by a hero, Baitan, the Fezians charge out of the castle to assault the musket men.

Musket men scale the Southern wall.

The Beersteiner artillery had a bad track record. Two cannons had already been lost to misfires last battle. This time three cannons blew up from a chain reaction misfire. All were destroyed without any action from the Fezians!
More Beersteiner musket men climb the North wall and fire at the Fezian archers on the battlements.

Fezian commander, Marduk holds off the musketmen on the South wall.

This was a great victor for King James. he also captured 22 credits and 4 wagons just as well, this late in the campaign with supplies diminishing.

However, rumors have emerged that a force, led by the Sultan, is on its way from the Fezian capital. One rumor, causing some consternation, is that a terrifying beast accompanies it. King James new what it was, for his own forces had used the Scaly Ones.
