Ughapithecus Band Defends Its Rock 'Castle' - ElastoWit Lost World 'Cavemen'

Strange people and animals, 'from the other side of the hill' have been appearing in their land and Onk decides to rally his people at their traditional strongpoint. It has always been a great place to defend against other bands of Ughapithecus and Big Tooth beasts. The troglodytes scientific term is given by explorer, professor Pimplepop but Onk simply calls his people The Oonter.

Keen readers may have seen a close resemblance to Homo Erectus.  The Ughapithecus are closely related although they have retained a thick covering of hair which other hominids had long since lost.

What was even more remarkable was the survival of such possible human ancestors into the year, 1898 and their discovery by European explorers of The Lost World.
