Donor figure was an Aifix HK clone...WWII commando. Just a guess...
ReplyDeleteNo, not exactly, but the figure is modified with a clone arm. I'll reveal all in my next post.
ReplyDeleteHowdy from Texas! I've followed your blog for several years. I really like the figure conversions you make. Also, the restoration of mismoulded home-casts. Fun stuff!
ReplyDeleteGday. I was in Texas in the 90s as part of a 4 month adventure in America on a bicycle, train, bus and lifts. That holiday was one of the best things I did in my life. You Americans were good to me. I hope you are a follower. I also have some FB toy soldier sites.
DeleteFor some reason this is listing me as Anonymous.
I'd like to know about our own collection, Gary. I also have some pages on FB you can join. I'll mention them in a future post.
James
Howdy, James! Dunno know whay the "comp00ter" wants to make you anonymous". Just so you know, Texans love Austrailia! Many frontier adventures/ lais-sez-faire philosphies/ and prideful attitudes..lots in common.
ReplyDeleteI am not on Face Book (I call it Butt-Book), but I understand why hobbyists and grandparents would be.
So , your blog is one of my favorite ways to see what's going on outside my world. I would like to send a couple of links to show you some of my figure conversions/dioramas. If that's Ok, I'll do it.
BTW, C'mon back to Texas! The San Antonio toy soldier show if lots of fun! The camping is great, and most folks are really friendly (especially to Aussies :) ) Thanks, Gary
