Army List Final Numbers from the Necromancer and Beersteiner Armies Battle in Hex 29 & the Skeleton Cavalry Get Flags

    I like my wargame figures to be properly painted and since I am now using my undead armies a lot I decided to add some more details to the troops. The white dry brushed horses got some washes of crimson and green and some more white dry brushing. I converted a couple of the riders and added a Reichland Flesh wash to the skeletons and then picked out some details in gold, bronze and blue.                            

                                                              The foul zombies trudge forward. 

BELOW: The Necromancer Lord summons more zombies. If he keeps doing this, I can see a huge horde of them falling upon Beerstein. As I write this ants are emerging from my computer keyboard. They seem to just keep on coming, much like the zombies.

                                   

           The skeleton cavalry gets some more paintwork, flags and a couple of shields. The flag came from an old White Dwarf magazine flag sheet. The skeletons were given a white dry brush.

                                  The hand flag was an old Warhammer Lord of the Rings flag.

The previous owner of these cavalry did not bother to cut off mold lines or to fill in the mold marks and holes for cowboy and Indian or US cavalry to plug in. If I had started from scratch, I would have filled these in but eventually I probably will not stand seeing them anymore and have to fill them in.

      The cavalry is not finished. There is still more detail to do but they look better already.
