Esmeraya, The Vampiress Receives a New Arm

Yes, I know 'vampiress' is not an accepted English word, but I like it, so I use it! (Mind you there are people who make a fuss about actual English feminine names like lioness, actress and Negress and they do so for ideological reasons, but I just say, 'a pox on you, snowflakes!' and keep using them. This particular figure is from a series of resin figures that could break if dropped. Originally, I got the whole set, several years ago, for my daughter. This one lost her right arm from a fall but now she gets a new one. She did not have a sword before, but I think she was busy guzzling something nasty from a goblet. In the world of vampire warriors, she needs to look the part. I searched my sword arm spares box and came up with a slim metal one which could, convincingly, be painted as flesh. it is still a little thicker than the left arm, but the muscles of her sword arm have had more work.

I also spruced up the basic paintjob with a few subtle shadows and highlights. The first pic shows the enhancements.

                                                       Before

                                                   After
Esmeraya was part of the Bridal Hunting party which ran into a large Beersteiner force. The two sisters were on their way to marry the Vampire Lord, who had been besieging Jameswick.

Esmeraya's sister, Belladonna, was struck down in battle. She witnessed that before she fled. Her vampire senses also told her of another death. The Vampire lord had been slain!

Esmeraya vowed vengeance but she needed to find more Forces of Darkness to accomplish this. Now she has met another threat of greater numbers. Will she survive?

As can be seen, Esmeraya's apparel is on the outrageous side but who is going to tell her that? In fact, Esmeraya uses her licentious charms to stun and mesmerize men into her dark and terminal embrace.
