Variations on the Timpo Wounded GI Resin Conversions
The wounded Timpo hollow-cast GI was fairly easy to make a mold for and to cast. He does look a little odd that he is holding his hand to his face. maybe he has a tooth ache as well as an injured arm. Mobile phones can probably be ruled out.
I added the final touches to my wounded Confederate cavalryman. He is the resin copy of the metal Timpo GI with a new head.
To the right is the British Scottish guardsman version. He has the jacket extended and a new head. The head is a casting of a Timpo plastic swoppet head. I did this as a flat-sided head, so the rear side is made up of putty. His left hand did nt come out so i sculpted a new one. I decided not to bother with adding equipment as he ma have removed it due to his medical state.I also made another copy of the Speedwell spaceman. His left arm did not come out, so I made it from wire and putty.
