A Pause In Posts & My Swapmeet

 A couple of events have slowed down my postings. Recently I had my swap-meet and no access to the Internet while I was in Melbourne. The other thing is I mislaid my camera. This means I didn't take photos of my swap-meet. I also I haven't found it yet to photograph my new acquisitions. I might get mat to take some pics tomorrow.

  The other thing is I have been in considerable pain since attacked by a swing chair which hit my right ribs. However, I feel much better after a week and a half. I managed to swim a couple of hundred meters in the river but, for now I am limiting it to survival backstroke and breaststroke.

  The swap-meet, which was a backyard event had sellers coming a considerable distance from various parts of Victoria. Whilst numbers were not huge a considerable amount of money and swaps changed hands and I met some collectors I otherwise would not have.

  My own purchases were some mounted Britains detail Napoleonics and some beat up old Lone Star Royal Marines. All of these will be added to my existing units and will be used in wargames. As I play fantasy and imagi-nations games there is not much restriction on use of ceremonial troops.

  I intend to run the swap-meet again next year and expect it to grow in leaps and bounds.
