New aquisitions and setting the battlefield.

I returned from Melbourne with plenty of plastic dogs for my future machine gun cart projects. Also I acquired Airfix and Matchbox Germans, cereal packet Soldiers of the World, the Disney bucket of toy soldiers from Toy Story, Britains plastic animals and a Britains hussar.
The wargame did not eventuate because of the threat of rain. It is now scheduled for the second Saturday from now. I have begun setting up the lawn with a terracotta town, sand road, Xmas tree forests and railway track; these will remain for a week as they are pretty much impervious to weather. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I already diced for Army Dark Green's morale and rolled a five. This mean the army will get a two D6 inch bonus to its normally sluggish movement. Although Crussia is being invaded it appears that the will remains strong.
The photos show the 'unfinished' battlefield as the less durable items and troops will, hopefully be added next week. The fallback position is an inside game on three large wargames tables. You can also see some of the troops assembling. The Crussian numbers have been reinforced by Balkan volunteers.

The cossacks are preparing to leave their barracks and are chaffing at the bit.
