The Crussian militia are less well supplied than the regulars. A variety of trousers, jackets and hats are frequently worn in the same regiment. The weaponry includes decades old firearms. On a recent patrol the Yelostov regiment came under fire, from across the border, causing one soldier to be wounded. The Fezian vizier has sent a diplomatic cable assuring the Crussian government that bandit smugglers were responsible. No Crussian reply has been made.
