Gerolstein Prepares for War

Gerolstein is mustering its forces to resist Hermany's 'offer of protection'. Hermany wishes to 'thank' Gerolstein for its contribution to the recent war with Crussia but Gerolstein is not keen on the sort of 'protection' Hermany has in mind.  Gerolstein just wanted Herman intervention in the event of a Ruritanian invasion. Now, Ruritania is typically sending troops to help Hermny in its planned invasion.

Above: Despite the frantic military activities most of Gerolstein is still typified by quiet pastoral scenes. However, the threat of the wolf is never far away, as can be seen below.

Rumours abound of help for Gerolstein from Grand Fenwick , 'from one mouse to another'.  A more powerful nation may also become involved; whether it is Crussia, Bluesia or Redia is not yet known.
GEROLSTEIN IS NOW READY

With the addition of grand Fenwick forces Gerolstein now has twelve regiments, including the three reserve militia regiments. The trouble is it is spread thinly.

Blusia has promised help for Gerolstein but Gerolstein is suspicious. Bluesia has specified a future control of Gerolstein's foreign affairs and a monopoly on the wine and cheese market. neither proposition has found support in the tiny duchy.
