Vampirella
For those who are not in the know Vampirella is a comic heroine, originally stated to be from the planet Draculon, which was in trouble because its rivers of blood were drying up, but she was later described as being the daughter of Lylith. She began as a 1969 'host' for Warren comics who introduced horror stories but eventually had a story of her own. She habitually craves blood but that's okay because she is a good vampire and only puts the bite on the bad guys, human or otherwise.
One of her fetching aspects is her red skimpy costume but how it stays in place in all that vigorous combat with the bad guys is a mystery.
The model is by Mobius, the same company that made the giant insect/scorpion thingy. It has few parts but needed a little filling and sanding. The model is not quite as attractive as the box art, the model being a bit stilted and she even has a little cellulite around the upper thighs, something totally lacking in the athletic comic character. She is also not as leggy. The bat is a nice touch.
The last picture shows the model next to a 54mm metal figure. Vampirela's hair was extended with putty as my daughter suggested it is much longer in the comic than the shoulder length hair of the unmodified model. I think I went overboard on the hair.
