Space Ork 40k Battles

My orks versus Joel's space marines: The game took place at the Epic Centre Sale. Joel decided to play defensively, occupying a corner of the board with hard cover. My def copters, def dred and war boss with truck can be seen below advancing on the space marine position.

 The truck boyz get stuck in and the nob leader destroys the dreadnaught with his power claw. The game was a draw, with equal damage done to both sides.

Below: Fiona's space marines against my space orks. This was a game with two moveable objective artefacts represented by the green plastic fish tank ornaments. My rokkit boyz and looted vehicle with boom gun shoot and destroy a space marine rhino but the marines disembark and shoot up the orks, paving the way for their claim of the artefact.

 

The war boss and mega armoured nobs launched their war truck at the enemy and smashed through two space marine units but were too far from the objective to claim it from the marines. The war boss was made from a toy robot.

Space marines claim the objective. Fiona won this game after also slaying my war boss. The mega nobs run out of time.
