My Wargames: Funny Little Wars, Gerolstein versus Crussia

Mat and I have begun planning of a new Funny Little Wars game. We had a lit of twelve possible armies and diced to see which countries would be fighting each other. We came up with Gerolstein and Crussia (Army Dark Green).

The game won't take place for about three weeks as Mat is going on holiday. If the weather permits it will be on the backyard. My ducks and chickens have been keeping the lawn well fertilized. They also eat the grass but their trimming has been outstripped by Spring growth. Consequently, I'll be mowing it. My idea is to leave patches unmown to serve as forest. The fowl, of course will be banished to their runs to prevent them leaving their ghastly droppings or squashing the odd regiment or house.
GEROLSTEIN FEARS CRUSSIAN INVASION

Below: Some locals have imbued some courage from their visit to The Von Fisher Price Inn; they have armed themselves with a variety of weapons to resist the Crussians.

A low flying Crussian observation balloon, requiring more height jettisoned its cases of vodka which demolished two buildings.
