WW1 German conversions from WW2
A few years before Armies in Plastic brought out its WW1 figures Brenton Hoffman went through his WW1 phase and converted loads of figures from WW2. The Germans had the helmets carefully cut down and spikes added. I obtained some figures from Brenton that he had lost interest in painting and I painted them myself. They are creeping forward with an old lead Britains machinegun.
HiJames, I want to try this too. The figures look very good. Do you have a photograph of the helmet cut away in more deetail. I see opportunities here and the prone figures are hard to find. What did you use as machine-gun?
