More Medieval Conversions

This conversion was made from a large scale cheap action figure from a made in China series called Knights Unequaled. The joints were Super Glued and the over-sized warhammer replaced with a double headed axe from the spares box. After being spray painted black it was dry brushed with GW bronze and then Screaming Bell. Some Humbrol green corrosion was added and the hint of some white bird droppings on the head. A metal base was used to which the knight was Super glued. The statue can be used in any post medieval era as well as late medieval or fantasy. He would look good with a key in his back as a clockwork giant knight or I am even tempted to paint them as actual large scale knights.

Below is one of my favourite old conversions of a Britains Detail archer with new arms and bow from wire. Mail was madefrom stocking. The gesticulating hand came from a road worker figure reversed to suggest something to the French who told the English archers they would remove their string drawing fingers. The archers are supposed to have suggested they come and try.

Below is a conversion from a Disney figure, sword and putty hat and feathers added.
Below is a Cherilea knight with added Teutonic knight standard.
Here is another Disney converson, the only change being a sword belt and sword.

Here is another Disney conversion under construction.
