Ogre to Sultan's body guard
Mike Blake inspired me to do conversions from the 1970s when I discovered his books in the Oakleigh Tech school library and then Highland' book shop in Melbourne book shop. Yesterday I saw his new conversions and decided to do my own.
I realised later that harem guards might not have huge beards, due to certain childhood physical... er ...adjustments but I'm no expert on that. The legs were cut at the ankle and metal rods inserted that allowed filling of the space. The head was moved higher on the top of the body.
Shown are some other figures for scale comparison, the original ogre size and my chaotic work bench.
