English Royalist Trumpeter

When I was a child I saw the movie, 'Cromwell' which motivated me to read up on the English Civil War. I must say that I rather disliked the Puritans who seemed to be the worst of sanctimonious wowsers! I tended to prefer the cavaliers with their reputed dash and flare, although, in reality both sides had moments of flamboyance.

This is a Replicants Cavalier figure and I'll be doing some Roundheads soon.
