Major Dundee: River Crossing Round Three

I changed the rules a little which made the lancers charging from the American side of the river survive longer. There were melees this time as I increased the movement for crossing the river.

The Americans mounted up and charged the French, their revolvers and sawed offs blazing.
                                                     Reinforcements for the French

The gunners turn the gun to face the newly arriving imperial Mexicans ...and, as it attempts close range firing, blows up, killing the crew.

                                                     Mexican lancers close in.
                                                              The last fleeing American....
                                                             ...is mown down!

The French and imperial Mexican reserves arrived early in the game and this time no Americans survived. This time Confederate leader, Tyreen did his heroic crazy thing after being wounded, charging into enemy reinforcements and finished off a unit of lancers that had previously been depleted by melee with the Americans. he was then finished off by another lancer unit. The Americans cannon misfired and blew up before it could shoot at the newly arriving forces from the Mexican side. No Americans survived this game as Mexican infantry shot down Dundee and the others as they crossed the river.
