Borduria/Syldavia Re-match
Today Mat and I are playing the recent game again but with Mat as the Bordurians. As the Syldavians I have so far kept my infantry out of harms way but my vehicles have been placed in position to do most damage to the Bordurian hordes. So far mat has lost two heavy tanks, a tankette and has a few holes in his infantry. Syldavian casualties are much less but a tank has been destroyed. We will continue the game shortly. here are the first pics.
Syldavians prepare defensive poitions.
SYldavians looking for a spy.
Syldavian Black Cossacks survey the field.
Syldavians in Horizon Blue
Syldaviancannon crew prepares
Syldavian civilians
Syldavian machine gun position
Black Cossacks in a building prepare to resist the invaders.
A Redian tri-plane joins the Borduruan forces machine gunning the Syldavians (before being shot down).
The Bordurian advance is hampered by the destruction of its tanks.
But Syldavian tank losses follow. Two Bordurian tankettes push forward into enemy territory.
Some Syldavians are ordered to withdraw so as not to be shot by the Bordurian tankettes.
Bordurian infantry infiltrate the town and fire at the despatch rider who manages to escape,
A Syldavian flame thrower and his supporting unit rush forward to flame a Bordurian tankette and infantry. The tankette is damaged but avoids the worst as two infantry are killed. Then the Bordurian flame thrower races forward and incinerates his rival and other Syldavians. These particular Bordurians still wear their tropical uniforms from the invasion of Lionia).
The Syldavian despatch rider is aided in his daring escape by the arrival of a Syldavian tank.
Bordurians press on into town. The Back Shorts, soldiers in black uniforms, are actually Redian volunteers from the Redian Fascist Party and do not have the support of the Redian government.
Counter flaming from the Bordurians (The flame template should probably be bigger).
The Bordurian tankette (down to one hull plate) machine guns the Syldavian field gun crew.
Tintin emerges from a building in the Bordurian lines and shoots two one of the crew of the field gun. As he runs toward them still firing one of them appears to initiate a surrender. The armoured steam tractor is in the background.

Syldavian cannon and infantry in the buildings fire at Bordurians at point blank range,
The elite Syldavian Black Cossacks hold out in a building.
Tintin and the Bordurian artillery crew.
Bordurian machine gunners pour fire into the Sydavian buildings.
A Syldavian civilian defiantly shakes his fist at the invaders. (A destroyed armoured car is in the background).
Syldavians give stubborn resistance to overwhelming odds.
A Syldavian priest prays for the souls of the dead.
The game played out a little differently than the last game as more Syldavians were still standing at the end and they still occupied buildings, including one of the objectives. A number of civilians had also been saved. The points were added up at the end of the 12 moves and the Syldavians won by three points! Mt Syldavians would have been in trouble if the game had gone for many more moves,
Our next game will be the one promised between Blusia and Army Black. Stay tuned. There will also be some other articles in between,
