Shrek, the giant and the squiggoth advance on the pikemen.

The Squiggoth charges and in the stampede it causes wounds on two enemy units but also on the big friendly giant!
The spiders launch a flank attack on the mounted knight only to be driven off.
An orc with hand cannon causes a couple of casualties among the Bogavanian musketeers.
The musketeers shoot back and cause a number of casualties.
The giant causes mayhem as he stuffs two men into his food bag and throws another as a missile at his pals. He is eventually brought down by the pikemen and the two captives set loose.
The Big Tooth and Bogavanian knights clash.
After loosing nearly half their number the knights prevail.
A goblin fanatic emerges from his hidden spot in a goblin regiment. The enemy halberd armed nights finish their move on him but the crazed goblin causes eleven casualties with his immenseball and chain.
Mutants and pikemen fight to the death.
The squiggoth is covered in wounds but fights on against both knights and musketeers. The goblin archers took pot shots at the nearby Bogavaian gun crew and kill two of them but they in turn suffer casualties. The mahout dies and the squiggoth guards his body to fight tom the death.
After a protracted battle the much diminished pikemen are all killed or driven off but few of the Black orcs survive. Not long after Bogavanian musket men shot down the remnants before being charged by the last large orc unit.
Massed musketry has destroyed the orc hordes. Two orc archers turn on each other in their anger and confusion before being shot down..
Trolls attacked the Bogavanian knights , causing casualties only to be pushed back and killed.
Bogavanian and Fezian volunteers push forward, the only thing in their path, on this flank, being two catapults with crews.
Conclusion: The game went for three hours. At mid point it looked like the orcs would prevail as the squiggoth and giant had entered into battle on the Bogavanan deployment zone. The Bogavanian cannon had also misfired and had little opportunity to get clear fields of fire. The orc catapults had caused some damage.
Things changed as Bogavanian musketry began to tell and the large beats were finally killed.
We played for table quarters and when the game finished on move twelve it was a draw but the orc forces were so deplete it was clear they could not have continued holding their ground if the battle had continued.
Next battle will be a replay but this time I shall be the human side.
