Train Station Staff Painted

These are the metal figures I showed in an earlier post but now painted with a mixture of enamel and acrylic paints. The Johilco porter is a bit pop eyed so I painted glasses on him. The station master has the signal flag which is out of scale and looks like a book but I am being picky because if it was thinner it would break off.

The figures have been mounted on metal washers. I have painted them in a semi traditional way. I love the cap on the baggage handler. I don't know what that style is called but it is less stiff than the station master's. I think that style of cap was worn for a long time and even into the 1950s. I seem to recall a Marlon Brando photo of him on a motorbike with the same style of cap.
