Astronauts With Rayguns

 The Apollo missions made astronauts both more exciting and less so, more so because astronauts actually were doing no cool stuff like landing on the Moon, less exciting because. they were not shooting bug eyed aliens.

I finished these yesterday. The Astronauts below are pre-Apollo style, lacking bulk. They are  somewhere between retro style and actual astronaut suits. (It should be noted though, that the next generation of space suits, especially those worn on Mars, might be closer to these. Bright colours were a characteristic of many SF comic astronaut outfits. Best of all, they have ray gun rifles with unusual projections.

       These astronauts are from three different cheapo made in China. The left hand figure lost the end of his gun. The right hand one is more like an Apollo astronaut with added GW weapon. The cammo scheme is based on an imaginary alien environment with blue plants.

     The Moon buggy came with the Apollo style astronauts. I decided to make it less boring by adding a Gatling gun and unusual cammo scheme,

   Here are some opponents - blue skinned aliens, some with GW new weapons. The set they came in had alternative shields and close combat weapons.

  Two different varieties of blue skins stalk each otehr around an ancient statue.

   Astronauts meet knights and try to make friends. (They might be so doing because they have run out of recharges on their guns after the three of them wiping out a whole Saracen army).
