Conquistadors Versus Aztecs

I had to use ECW and Medieval to flesh out the Spanish force. Here are the first pics. (Game still in progress)

View from the Spanish side. A cavalry unit prepares to attack.

A mystery Egyptian statue is at the base of the stairs! The Aztecs block the Spanish advance.
The Aztec ruler yells defiance. A recent sacrifice can be seen.
Carlos charges his cavalry in but his arrogance is challenged by much greater Aztec numbers.

Anther cavalry unit prepares to charge to aid the other.
       The Spanish numbers dangerously diminish.
Aztec reserves arrive on the Spanish flank necessitating a pause in the advance as units turn to face this threat.

  1. Some spirited conversions of various natives and as they were seen by the Natives, armoured centaurs (half man half horse) otherwise known as cavalry ... the temple looks as if H G Wells in Floor Games would approve!

  2. Thanks Mark. The outcome of the battle was inconclusive but the Aztecs, commanded by Mat, were more effective than the Toltecs against the Vikings. I'll be adding further accounsts and photos.
