45mm Compared To Other Figures, Steam Tin Man, 18th Century Grenadiers, Artillery battery Recruits For Ozzz

 Ozzz recruits shape up,

Below, the Munchkin gunners are with their BMC cannons. Ideally the gun carriages should be blue but these were already painted for other troops. Left to right conversions from fireman, copy of Airfix WW2 and fireman.

Foreground, closest figure was a terrible copy of Britains Herald modern infantry,

                                                         Steam punk style tin man

45mm 18th century grenadiers, The closest figure is a WW2 conversion. Most of the others are metal.
The second from left and kneeling also were WW2 plastic copies of other makes. I just realised that in the back line one figure has a white vest but all the others have blue ones. The colours are generic rather than exactly of a historical regiment but they would pass muster for that purpose.
Two more metal recruits almost finished

As I said in an earlier post the grenadiers (ironically) are suitably short next to 54mm of other races or normal human height. On the other hand they are not actually Munchkin dwarfish proportions. The general comes closer as the figure was given a 54mm scale head.

The firemen came closer to Munchkin proportions as their heads were quite large compared to bodies. I also have some 45mm police of similar dimensions that may well become the Munchkin Guard regiment.

I may also acquire some Mokarex 45mm scale Napoleonic cavalry that will become a Munchkin cavalry unit.
