My Multitude Of Mutants, Also Aliens

Yesterday, at the local Sunday market, I bought ten bags of cheapo figures. Four are aliens (that also serve me as mutants) and includes robots. Each bag has 60 figures but had more of some figures than others. The other bag contains very good copies of Airfix, the main difference being smaller bases.

The bag also included four grey figures of completely different poses and from a different series.
There was a paucity of hammerhead aliens.

Left to right top: friendly waving amphibious or reptilian alien, robot with wand/gun/sword/icy-pole? robot with pointy nosed head. Bottom, Alien looking alien, another waving alien with one eye and hammerhead.

                                                      Unit of friendly waving aliens

Cyclops alien, The pink skin highlighted with pale pink turned out well. One has his head reattached to look sidewards.

                                                                    Alien aliens.

Next are the hammerhead aliens tat actually have four eyes as they have a pair of eyes on each side.

THOUGHTS:  The figures paint up okay although they are a bit 2D and they'd look better with more weapons.  The two robots have quite interesting heads that I am going to transplant on mounted knights for Dark Elf riders on carnivorous dinosaurs. They can also serve as retro SF figures.

  1. A fun find (and a very friendly looking lot aren't they?)! Love the paint jobs. Those pink aliens look "skinned" and were they not so jovial could function in a horror game I would think.

  2. Yes, the pink ones are my favourite. I used them in a game against WW1 AIP Germans. The mutants shot laser beams from their eyes! Fairly useful against tanks.

They could be used for all kinds of 'things'.

By the way, only one of the bags also had the few grey figures and a tiny blow up balloon! I wonder if it was deliberate from someone who got bored or if it was an accident.
