Ozzz Invaded! Opening Moves.
A scouting force of Amerigan volunteers and infantry with two machineguns arrived through the portal to Ozzz. Four Ozzz armies moved to intercept the intruders.
Below, a light Ozzz infantry Winkie rifle regiment moves forward.
Glenda, the good Witch encourages her grenadier regiment.
The Amerigan infantry and machine gun awaits the Ozz forces of Wizard Zoraster's Munchkins moving down the road.
Munchkin artillerymen haul their guns up the hill
Munchkin grenadiers march on the Amerigan flank.
Amphibious creatures emerge from their spawning pond. Enraged at the threat to their young, they attack the invaders machine gun crew which manages to shoot a few before they closed.
Dire Beasts enter a secret tunnel on the invaders' flank.
The amphibians are decimated after the infantry enter the fray but they hold on.
More Ozzz forces move forward.
Forest animals are spooked by the bad witches' skeleton warriors.
The Winkie Rifles and the Winkie Guard advance.
This section of the Yellow Brick Road has long ago faded.
Dwarves await their moment.
The Ozzz balloon corps is on its way.
It sees an Amerigan steam flyer on its flank.
The Steam flyer heads towards Glenda the good Witch but she uses a transport spell to push the plane back the eay it came. This exhausted her, necessitating she recover for a move but the flyer returned, the pilot looking for a target for his bombs.
Where the Winkie Guard awaits. So far ir has not summoned the courage to charge.
Meanwhile Amerigan machine gun fires into a cave to prevent further assaukts from what lay within. So far rheyn have repelled amphibious creatures, Dire beasts and skeletons. The latter still lurk in the cave.
A unit of scarecrows edge forward and launched its attack crows at the other machinegun. Already suffering casualties from artillery the crows finished the job.
The earlier Dire lion attack. Their strength, toughness and ferocity were no match for machine gun bullets.
