Retro SF From WW2

This was inspired by 1/ retro SF and 2/ the habit of boys to paint WW2 figures in bright colors!

I wanted figures I could use for SF or alternate time lines and parallel universes. The figures could be used for anything from '19th century' to retro future such as Ming's minions.

The weapons were painted black and bright bronze which could be any unknown metal. Although 19th century troops (in our timeline) tended to not wear metal helmets unless they were heavy cavalry there is no real reason why they could not have so long as their vision for shooting was not affected.

WW1 and WW2 helmets grew out of medieval designs so what if they were introduced several decades before WW1 (or its equivalent)?

The main figures i used were Airfix or copies of them. My favorite is the charging American who I have converted before into Turks/Fezians and American sailors in the intervention in the Mexican Revolution.
